Founding Managing Trustee: Dr. S. Ramadoss envisioned creating an educational institution in Villupuram District at Tindivanam to provide quality education to the socially and economically backward people.
Trustees The trust is guided by trustees who share the vision of the founder, including Shri G. K Mani (Chairman), Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss (Trustee at Large), Dr. R. Govindasamy (Trustee), and Dr. P Sundararajan (Trustee). Additionally, the current President of Vanniyar Sangam and the current President of Social Improvement Society are also trustees.
Expansion: Since its inception, the trust has expanded its activities, starting with the initiation of the IAS/IPS Training Centre in 2006. This was followed by the establishment of Saraswathy College of Arts & Science in 2008, Saraswathy College of Engineering & Technology in 2010, and Saraswathy Law College in 2018. The trust aims to establish colleges in other disciplines in the future.
